Sign PDF
Draw your signature or upload an image of it and place it on the pages you choose, without uploading the file.

The PDF never leaves your browser: the signature is added here.
This pastes your signature onto the page. It is not a cryptographic signature: nothing proves the document has not changed since. For that you need a certificate, and that is a different tool from a different kind of programme.
What does this tool do?
Puts your signature on the pages you choose. You draw it there with the mouse or your finger, or you upload a photo of the signature you use on paper, pick where it goes and how big it is, and get a new PDF.
What this is, and what it is not
This pastes an image onto the page. It is what you need for most paperwork: a form, a delivery note, a lease your landlord wants back by email.
It is not a cryptographic signature. Nothing here proves the document has not been changed after you signed it, and nobody can verify who signed it from the file alone. That needs a certificate and your private key — a different kind of tool, and one that has no business running in a web page that promises your documents stay on your computer.
How it is placed
The grid is the page: pick a corner, an edge or the middle. The size is in millimetres, so a 50 mm signature is the same on an A4 sheet and on a small one, and the distance from the edge is yours too. The signature keeps its proportions: it is never stretched to fit.
Keep in mind
Nothing is uploaded. The PDF is read and written in your browser, and the original file is not touched — if the signature lands somewhere odd, try again on the same file.
