How the project is paid for

Host-Tools is free to use. Keeping it running is funded by three things: display advertising, affiliate links, and optional support from people who find it useful.

Display advertising

When advertising is active, ads are served by Google AdSense. We do not choose the individual ads and we do not share the content you process with advertisers — remember that the tools run in your browser, so there is nothing for us to share.

Affiliate links

Some links to third-party products are affiliate links: if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate placements are visually labelled as sponsored and are marked in the page markup with rel="sponsored".

A commission never changes what we say about a product, and we only link to things we think are relevant to the page you are reading.

Supporting the project (1 €)

If you want to say thanks, you can support Host-Tools with a one-off payment of 1 €. As a courtesy, supporters browse the site without display ads: the preference is stored in your own browser, and no account is needed.

This is a voluntary contribution, not a purchase of a product or a subscription. It is a one-off, and it does not create an account or a contractual relationship beyond these pages.
