Terms and conditions

1. What Host-Tools is
Host-Tools provides free online utilities for developers and system administrators. The tools run in your browser: you paste content, the tool processes it locally, and you copy the result. No account is required.
2. Operator
This site is operated by Mendo Network. Contact: info@mendo.network.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use the site to break the law or to infringe the rights of others.
- Do not attempt to overload, scrape aggressively, or interfere with the service or with other users.
- Do not use the server-side features (such as Website Status) to attack, probe or scan systems you do not own or are not authorised to test.
We may restrict access if the service is being abused.
4. No warranty
The tools are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Output may contain errors and must be checked before you rely on it. In particular, formatting, minifying or converting data can change it: see the notes on each tool page.
5. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you process. Because it stays in your browser, we neither receive it nor claim any licence over it.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the site, including data loss or corrupted output. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Advertising, affiliation and support
The service may show advertising and may contain affiliate links, and it offers an optional way to support the project. These are described in the Advertising & affiliation page.
8. Changes to the service and to these terms
Tools may be added, changed or removed. These terms may be updated; the date at the top of the page shows the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Mendo Network, and any dispute will be subject to the competent courts.
